PROJECT CHALLENGE:
Existing automation systems for the jail complex had pneumatic controls with hybrid electronic overlay through-out facility. There was unreliable plant control with most equipment operating in a manual condition. Controls were not visible through the existing front-end, and there was no remote access.
PROJECT SOLUTION:
Raptor installed new Distech BACnet controllers with all new controls devices through-out the jail facility. Pneumatic systems were replaced with electronic controls and all systems were served up to the County Supervisor system. The scope of work also included variable frequency drive replacement, and boiler controls for main County Courthouse Complex. Created system and floorplan graphics which included engineering, programming and commissioning services. System is part of the Nueces County wide supervisor building automation integration.
